HPR38L-20 Mini Piling Rig for Bridge Pier and Abutment Strengthening
Bridge widening and seismic strengthening demand piles drilled beside live piers, often under the deck. The HPR38L-20 reaches 20 m depth with 480-1000 mm diameters while standing only 2.9 m high without kelly bar and 6 m in working position, so it can drill beneath an existing bridge soffit without closing the carriageway.
Low Headroom Advantages
- 6 m working height allows drilling under bridge soffits and girders
- 20 m depth and 480-1000 mm diameter for pier and abutment pile groups
- 2.9 m transport height without kelly bar and 4.9 m transport length
- 38 kNm torque with 40 kN pressure force penetrates dense gravel and weathered rock
- 11000 kg chassis with 2.3 m width for working between pier lines

Why Contractors Choose This Rig
Bridge work is scheduled around traffic. A low headroom rig that drills 20 m piles under the deck keeps lanes open and avoids the cost of a full closure. The 38 kNm head and 40 kN pressure force handle the gravel layers typical of river crossings.
Verticality monitoring and casing guide frames can be included for pier pile tolerance requirements.
