TYCHEN Foundation was invited to participate in the Hunan State Grid technology forum about the power construction drilling rig used for mechanized construction of power transmission line.

    On September 30th, 2022, Our Cooperating Company TYCHEN was invited to participate in the online forum organized by "Hunan’s State Grid About the mechanized construction of power transmission line using Customized power construction drilling rig. ” and have obtained a lot of precious pointers while learning the accomplishments achieved by Hunan State Grid in the process of fully mechanizing construction of power grid using power construction drilling rig.

    In order to realize the mechanized construction of digging and drilling foundation in areas with hills and mountains, it is important to change the traditional construction mode where labour are doing the foundational work and machinery are merely a secondary support. Changing the mode of construction will greatly reduce construction risk, improve construction efficiency and reduce labor intensity. Hunan’s State Grid Electric Power association carried out the research on the mechanized construction power grid using power construction drilling rig, the Hunan Power Transmission Company is the main participant in this project, it cooperated with TYSIM, to develop the power KR series small and medium-sized pile foundation drilling equipment (referred to as power construction drilling rig) according to the specific characteristics of transmission line construction.

    The power construction drilling rig can be used in digging foundations, excavating foundations, and cast-in-place pile foundations; it can realize the construction in stratums with vicious and powder soil, sand, gravel, soft rock and weathered rock formations. Moreover, the power construction drilling rig can function well in flat and hilly terrain, as well as some hilly terrains. Currently, the power construction drilling rig has been successfully utilized in more than 200 projects inside and outside the province.

    Under the current situation, and with consideration of the Hunan State Grid's requirements in operators for power construction drilling rig. TYCHEN has trained a group of high-quality and highly skilled rotary operator for State Grid in the past two years to cooperate with State Grid's mechanized construction requirements, which has improved construction efficiency greatly.

    In the future, TYCHEN will not only devote itself in cultivating high-quality rotary drilling rig operators for power grid construction, it will also produce more professional operators who understands the technology, knows the equipment, and be skilled in maintenance, and capable of repairing for the society; TYCHEN will work hard to provide those professional operators with jobs as well as creating an excellent occupational platform for them.
